Emanuella Wallin is a Product Owner in the Charging and Energy team at Polestar. Emanuella leads efforts to develop charging software and solutions that increase convenience and cost-efficiency for Polestar customers, ultimately accelerating the shift towards electric mobility. She is also the project lead for vehicle-to-grid (V2G). V2G enables bi-directional charging and turns the car into a mobile power bank, effectively storing energy to support the owner’s home or energy grid. Emanuella is at the forefront of developing a solution that enables consumers to actively support the energy system while monetizing their car when parked.
Emanuella holds a master’s degree in Software Engineering and Management from Chalmers University of Technology and has experience in both the automotive and software industries, having worked at companies such as Volvo (IT), Seal Software, and DocuSign. Her previous roles include Software Developer, Product Owner Analytics/ML, and Lead Product Manager.
